Originally built in 1882, Whittier is a designated Historic Landmark as Colorado’s oldest continually operating school. This addition and renovation project, designed by SLATERPAULL Architects, includes new art, music and kindergarten classrooms and a new computer lab. Also includes a gym expansion, kitchen improvements, interior finish upgrades.
Also included were upgrades to outdoor recreational areas to improve playground surfacing and fencing and to make the areas ADA accessible.
