Thompson School District Transportation Facility

Designed by The LKA Partners, Inc., The transportation facility project was a 32,000 square foot renovation and addition to office, storage and vehicle maintenance areas.  The project also provided new facilities and site storage for the carpentry and small engines departments.

The buildings are single-story slabs-on-grade with spread footings.  The structure is a combination of steel and load bearing masonry.  Exterior walls are a combination of masonry veneer, single wythe masonry, and pre-finished metal.  Roofing systems are single ply membrane and pre-finished metal.
