Henry Zurbrugg | Vice President of Estimating
Henry Zurbrugg moved to Colorado in 1993 from Zurich, Switzerland. Henry has a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering and Masonry/Concrete Construction and ultimately earned his Master’s Degree in Project Management in 1992. With over 28 years of construction experience, Henry joined GTC in May 1996 as a Project Manager/Estimator. In 1999 he was charged with leading the Estimating and Preconstruction department as the Vice President of Estimating. At that time he also became a partner and Principal in the company and was appointed to GTC’s Board of Directors.
Henry’s professional affiliations include the American Society of Estimators (ASPE) where he served on the Board of Directors from 2007 to 2008 and as Chairman of the Education Committee. He is also a member of the Construction Specification Institute (CSI).
Henry is married and has four children and two grandchildren. He and his wife Susie live in Nederland, Colorado where he is active as a volunteer fire fighter and Chairman of the Board for the Nederland Fire Protection District.
