Ponderosa Elementary School

Ponderosa is a new 2-story, 72,000 square foot elementary school designed by Bennett Wagner & Grody Architects, P.C.  The school’s construction incorporates energy efficient features such as increased daylighting, a white roof to reduce heat island effect and thermal temperatures, exterior sun shades and internal louvered glass to reduce heat gain and sun glare, and fluid-applied membrane air barrier to create an efficient thermal envelope.

This project also included site developments of a new parking lot, irrigation and landscaping and new playground equipment.
