Imagine!, the Community Centered Board serving Boulder County received a Section 811 Capital Advance from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to construct a house for very low income persons with developmental disabilities (50% of median income or below).  Ongoing rental assistance will also be provided through HUD.

The architectural design of the house is fully accessible, with an emphasis on “green building” and assistive technology which will maximize each individual’s independence.  The house, designed by PEH Architects, was built with a living room, dining room, kitchen, two bathrooms, six resident bedrooms and a staff bedroom.  Imagine! will provide comprehensive supportive services to those individuals residing in the house.
