Designed by Grey Wolf Architecture, this project included a new charter school building, parking lots, recreational areas and 4 acres of site development. The two-story, 37,990 square-foot school provides twenty-two classrooms, a library, gymnasium, cafeteria, computer lab, science room and an art studio to better educate Adams County PK-8 students. Our project team was made up of LEED Accredited Professionals who worked to include green features such as recycled products and materials that reduce indoor contaminants. We also made advantageous value engineering proposals, including one recommendation that saved the school approximately $150,000 and shaved a month off the construction schedule.
Tina Jajdelski, Executive Director of CLA, said, “GTC was great to work with from day one...We couldn't be more pleased with the personal attention and obvious care given to our project.” At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, President of the CLA Board of Directors, Patty Core, said, “How often do you hear of a construction project that finished on time and under budget? GTC is the company that most people only dream about finding.”
